Struggling to get eyes on your content? 👀
With millions and millions of searches being made every day, standing out is important.
YouTube, as a channel, is not used as much by small businesses, when in actuality, it is one of the best channels.

It has high view through rates, subscriber loyalty, great advertising abilities and so much more. It is a space to tell the story of your brand, that gives you the freedom to go beyond a minute. As it is the world's second largest search engine, there is more chance of your brand being found.
Here are a couple of tips and tricks that will help your content to be viewed often.
  1. Tags! Tagging your content as you upload it will allow you to appear against the terms when they are searched. How high up you are depends on how much content you create around that particular term.
  2. Turn on subtitles. Turning on automatic subtitles in the language that you speak allows the content that you're speaking to be searchable from Google or on YouTube, which may mean that it becomes a suggested video on YouTube. You can submit your own subtitles as well to make sure all of the terms you mention are searchable.
  3. Write your title in capital letters. Always write each and every title in capitals to ensure that you stand out in the long list of search results. Capitals have a sense of urgency which means people are more likely to click on your content.
  4. Thumbnails need to attract! Create a thumbnail that is bright, interesting, loud and noticeable.
  5. Create clickbait in your title and thumbnail. Phrase situations in a different way, take things out of context, focus on one tiny part or reference, but use it well to create intrigue.
  6. Use YouTube tools and resources, which will allow you to have access to a great deal of tools to customise, add and change your content.
  7. Upload regularly! This is very important because, as you upload regularly, the algorithm will take you seriously and push you up the search list. It could be once a week or twice a week or every day but just make sure you stick to that schedule for a sustained period of time.
  8. Collaborate with influencers (any relevant person with over 100,000 subscribers) on their channels. This will allow you to gain exposure from their audience, you will be able to learn from them and it will allow you to make a new friend!
  9. Give a clear CTA to subscribe, like and comment. You can even tell them that it helps you as it honestly does. Sometimes people just need to be told! 😁 If they like the content, I have a strong feeling that they will take the action.
  10. Test and learn! Try things multiple times and see how they work. Whilst some things won't work, some things will. Once you then understand the winning formula, rinse and repeat! 😄

Winning on YouTube really centres around great content and consistency. With those in place, you will be able to grow your channel easily!
Fun fact: YouTube subscribers are some of the most loyal subscribers so once you have a subscriber, you can be pretty sure they are going to stick around. 😁
